Hah, okay it’s been a very long time. Much has happened since my last post 3 months ago. I have been in my new job as a web developer 3 months, not so new now i guess. We’ve got ourselves a flat into which we move 2 weeks today.
Only a short post but hopefully a precursor to a more fruitful and up to date photoblog.
I WILL keep this up to date from now on and i WILL take more photographs.
Music wise: can’t stop listening to Interpol, I’m also revisiting ‘Caution’ (Hot Water Music)

Fridays suck
Although I am very much a child of the weekend, I’m really beginning to dislike Fridays. They are a bit like Christmas, a big build up and then you eventually realise its just another day. I think Saturday is far more satisfying in terms of weekendness. As I get older (24 is old) and lose my teenage ability to sleep-in, Saturday becomes more and more of a feature of my week; really and truly the one free day. No work in the morning and no work the next day so you can make the most of the evening. Fuck Fridays, fuck them in their stupid asses.
On a less philosophical note, I bought a printer so I can physicalize (that is the opposite of digitize right?) my Iceland photos, can’t wait for it to arrive so I can get all analog on them.

Okay so I went to Iceland
Reykjavik to be precise. It was bloody awesome. We did all the Icelandy stuff; geysirs, thermal pools, snowmen, coffee and we also took a butt load of photographs. You can see them as I slowly upload them to my flickr page.
I haven’t posted in a while, I lost my password and also lost my password for the email that the password reset email was going to. Ironic?

It snowed, a lot. Was pretty much snowed in at Donna’s last night, we watched ‘Hero’; I enjoyed it, but I’m not going to pretend to have understood it. We were supposed to be going to Birmingham last night for a friend’s birthday but the prevailing snow and general weather prevented that.
I feel really low today and I’m not too sure why. I think I need exercise or something. Something just isn’t right.

This week has been strange, the stress of work has built up and amongst other things, which will be discussed at a later date, it feels like it has all come to some end two days premature.
I feel like a different person, somehow more sensitive to that which previously I would have ignored or swept away. It’s strange how much events in a few short days can affect so many aspects of your life.
With endings come new beginnings, with conflict comes resolution and retrospect. Love brings some comfort, but the world suddenly feels slightly emptier, somehow less influenced by my actions.

How is it February already? January is old news now, it flew by I can’t really remember too many details of it. I Bought the new Shins album today, its Good with a capital G, I also watched ‘Brick‘ the other night, it must be said it was incredible, although there are many who would disagree with me.
Going to cook some food for Richard and Charlotte tomorrow, I don’t know what yet, I will decide in the morning.

Caffiend
I’m going cold turkey on caffeine for 7 days, today makes day two. Yesterday was mostly just a headache but today I got quite severe shakes and nausea, I had a small amount of chocolate which seemed to help. Its crap but sleep doesn’t seem to be making any difference to how tired I’ve been feeling recently so I’m giving my body every chance I can.
Work has been bloody shit this week, I haven’t really done much computer stuff, mostly admin and chasing tech support queries; Until today of course, when 9 new Dell desktops, a laptop and a colour laser printer rocked up, then I spent the afternoon in IT heaven opening boxes and installing equipment. I’ve barely even started installing the workstations but I gave everyone their new flat-screen monitors to keep them happy for now. Looks like I’ll be putting in some weekend hours to get it all up and running.
I haven’t taken any photos this week, but hopefully I will do something this weekend to exercise my shutter finger.
